emm, started well, mid weight earthy and still tight acomatically. Thought it would open up, but ten minutes later closed down tasted thin/green. Will try secon d half tonight.

So, I was wrong in '09. This was blasting out dark fruits, meaty notes and a subtle floral overlay. Light on the nose and short on the finish, but a gorgeous approach and midpalate which sang. Dark fruits really dominated and way more weight than previous notes. Really like where this was.

Nice nose with much promise - feints of oak, leaves, dried fruit, blood meal. Same lack of delivery on the palate as in '06 - flattened and coarse with stewed elements. Did deliver some enjoyment on the fruit and with food, but no where near what it should. Disappointing. Picked up tinned elements and pinched texture over time. Based on this (and some un-CT-noted samples) that P-M's wines are not for the long run - this did not taste shut-down, but like it was devolving.

Very clean and focused nose exihibiting flowers, ferrous minerality, bright beam of cherries peppered with mushrooom powder. Progressively the nose became more and more stewed with orange peels and brambles showing through. The nose is beautifully expressing its terroir. Medium body of sour yet ripe cherries with orange peels on the finish. Kinda truncated on the palate...feels like it is playing hide and seek. This needs to integrate more nicely.
