Definitely on the lush side, but not as bad as the 2011, for example. The dark cherry and blackberry are accompanied by some crisper blackcurrant, but not quite enough and there is a definite wave of kirsch flavours. Hopefully this will die down with a few more years in the cellar.

The tannins have died down but at the moment this is a little too lush. It is however gaining in typicity with some faint chalky tones refreshing the slightly syrupy fruit. Fingers crossed.

Après 4 ans en cave, je décide d'ouvrir ma dernière bouteille. Un cabernet Franc typique, très végétal sur des notes de poivron vert, céleri suivi d'une touche épicé/poivré. Encore plutôt tannique et l'alcool se fait ressentir. Un vin au gout très prononcé et un superbe accord avec le magret de canard au canneberge. Cependant, un manque d'équilibre l'empêche d'être excellent.
