N: Slightly closed; plums & earth with undertones of flowers; gains intensity & complexity with air
P: LM body; Still nice frt met by some firming astringency, which only SOMEWHAT mitigates by the LONG, ultimately bitterswt choc finish. Interesting, but I suspect has taken on a different character from what I'd imagine it once was. 87 pts WS [This vendor's $12.95 is BUT ~ 52% of the only other listed source on wine-searcher!]

Cherry, leather, lilac, cardamom. The nose has some gravitas. Musky aromas transcend to the palate. Light-medium bodied with medium acidity and a warm-spiced finish. Bourgogne-like. Elegant, if a bit diffuse at present. May flesh out some and gain added complexity. Drink now with a decant.

Wildman New Release Burgundy Tasting (Peninsula Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Perhaps my favorite of the lineup, showing all red fruit with good intensity but very good balance. Slightly leaner and elegantly styled.
