Menu decant. Deep dark electric magenta color. Boysenberry, blackberry, maple scone, baker’s chocolate, and licorice. Dry, dusty, full bodied palate. Grippy, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.
My score is just a placeholder, but this will be at least that good in a year or two. It’s not nearly as confectionery as my notes make it sound. I bought three more bottles at my tasting.
