Antoine Jobard/Hudelot-Noëllat Dinner at La Paulée de Los Angeles (Kato, Los Angeles): Medium weight. Succulent tart citrus and yellow fruit. Tangy acidity and a bit of herb. Wonderful glycerine feel without any obvious wood, then a snappy finish. After tasting the other 2 vintages, one can appreciate a bit less intensity here, but this is no weak sister. Verging on outstanding, delicate for Meursault.

La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Walkaround tasting. Bright with good concentration with Asian spice notes. Very good length. Needs a few more years in the cellar, I expect this will even pick up more volume.

Assessing 2021 Burgundy-La Paulée de Los Angeles Grand Tasting (Fairmont Miramar, Santa Monica): Second time tasted this week. Yellow. Very light wood and bitter citrus aromas. Medium weight. Lovely balance between orange and soil. Not a big wine but very finely rendered. I really liked this.
