Really liked it. Been sitting in my cellar for the right moment. Last night got it out to enjoy with a Prime Rib roast. Dark rich garnet color with nice legs in the glass. Full bodied which we love with black cherry and oak on nose and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, vanilla and oak. Smooth finish.
One of my best cabs this year. I have one more.

Hazy notes. Lots of black fruits here, some chocolate, not much complexity, but very tasty flavours in a full bodied, plush wine. I always think of this producer's wine as being in a very easy to drink style: lowish acidity, not much tannin and significant oak. This is all true for this wine, not my usual style, but it certainly is a delicious drink. I think this will last several years yet but is drinking well now (A-).

Dark Garnet in color, followed by modest aromas of crushed blackberry, pine needle, cedar box and spice. Luscious ripe concentrated macerated blackberry and blueberry, with dried cranberry-dark chocolate on the long finish. This wine has no rough edges, the tannins have fully softened and have integrated perfectly, this is a very good wine at 10 years out, probably got a couple more, but I don't know why you'd wait, it won't get better than NOW!

Dark purple with aromas of dark fruit, wet cedar and spice. Dark dried currant, black raspberry, and dark chocolate mousse, meld together seamlessly in a luscious long delicious finish. There's no bumps left in this one, just goodness, perfect now, probably a couple years left before noticeable decline. I have 3 more left, so more to follow! A little sediment, so carefull pouring/drinking, or decant. No decanting needed to open it up, good right from the bottle.

Part of a Washington State tasting with my wine group. Probably the WOTN. The 2008 is really hitting its stride right now. Great balance of fruit and tannin, a medium-long finish.

(Fidelitas Cabernet Sauvignon Champoux Vineyard Horse Heaven Hills) A compelling, complex wine with char, toast, earth, high toned herbal notes, and an under layer of black cherry. The palate has winding black fruit flavors with herbal accents. The tannins are supple and perfectly integrated. An absolutely beautiful wine worth seeking out. Give two-plus years.
