  • This is still very good but I must say that the greatness experienced with previous bottles eludes me somewhat this time. The fruit has faded a bit and the acidity dominates. But it is still a favourite.

  • Mineral on the nose with traces of apricot; medium-bodied on the palate with notes of kiwifruit, lime, and tropical fruit on the finish. Paired nicely with crab cakes sauteed in butter.

  • Held up well. Finished today. Nose has faded a bit and shifted toward butterscotch fruit from Juicy Fruit but otherwise great accompaniment to my meal, in which this wine played a significant part in the cream sauce. I'll be buying more of this, especially as the state store has it on sale. Rating stands.

  • Beautiful golden color; almost like that of a dessert wine. Big nose of tropical fruits -- sort of like Juicy Fruit gum -- and something floral, but more like the whole plant instead of just the perfumey essence. Fruity attack with a smooth, banana-like mid-palate. Silky medium-long finish that feels like a dessert wine despite this not being one. Low(ish) acid and just enough oak to push this to the "center-masculine" side. Well-balanced. Should stand up to my eclectic dish of salmon cakes, grilled glazed squash, and tropical rice well.
