Bigger than a typical Oregon pinot. Red and dark fruit, not a lot else. Slight oxidation. Time to drink up. Fair value for $19 sale price. More in the style of a RRV pinot.

Deep ruby red. At once ripe and resinous nose with rhubarb, strawberry and raspberry fruit, leather tones. Tight wound up palate rather masculine with structured ripe red fruits, cola with high and firm acidity.

from 375ml. Poured into glass & drank 20 minutes later. Honestly, too acidic to drink without food. Black cherry / nail polish (Barolo like) on nose. full body, out of balance acids (was okay with food) & medium length finish. Probably too young to drink - will pour some back in the bottle & try tomorrow. 87+

This was a very nice expression of Shea Vineyard fruit. Bright red cherry and black pepper were the main flavors along with very nice acidic lift. I think that a little more bottle time will smooth this out even more, though Betsy was waxing poetic about it--she absolutely loved it.

Ripe red fruit bursts through on both the nose and palate, with surprising depth in the finish. Paired with grilled salmon; delicious.
