Not really fading, but quite aged. At least this bottle (cork wasn't in the best shape). Plenty of brown (mashed fruit, cheap coffee) and earthy flavours. A bit flat, not really very vital and not as (limited) precise as I've remembered it to be. Still okay. Would not keep it for all too long.

On the 1st night it was carrying some caramel (oak influenced?) that detracted. Better on the 2nd night and having shed this aroma, it showed quite a bit of charm.

Very nice bourgogne. Filled with earth and mineral notes with underlying dark fruits notes. The palate is clean and bright with nice weight for an entry level.

Much better than the 2010 Bourgognes I've been tasting, possibly because of the extra year of bottle age, but also because of the strong fruit in the vintage. This has forward, ripe, very tasty fruit, with nice detail and structure underneath. This will be even better in a couple of years, but is drinkable now. No noticeable rusticity.

(Domaine Arlaud Bourgogne Roncevie) Bright medium cherry red color; nice raspberry, sous bois, berry nose; tight, tart red fruit, tart cherry, mineral palate; needs 1-2 years and should go 6-7 years; medium-plus finish 88+ points

Beau fruit encore bien présent, c'est tendu. Finale agréable avec un élevage et des tanins bien intégrés.
