Final bottle from a full case. Relatively evolved appearance for a 2009. Just like the bottle tasted yesterday, this is not in great shape. I can't detect any clear technical faults here, but the tannic structure just seems to have collapsed - almost vanished even. Even if it's aromatically still in pretty good nick (not too tired yet), the lack of grip on the palate makes it pretty "meh" - for want of a more scientifically correct expression. I'm done, if you have any left, I would suggest drinking this pronto or dedicating it to an upscale Boeuf Bourguignonne. Not rated.

Strangely, this comes across as rather fragile today. It's got most of the expected features of a 2009 Ambroise wine on the nose (black fruit and spicy new oak), but compared to previous bottles the palate feels much less firm and sturdy. It's aromatic and open for business, but it lacks structure and tannic grip. On the finish I think I detect a hint of carbon dioxide. Probably faulty. Not rated.

Last bottle and prolly the best one. Excellent for its level. I’d enjoy these now rather than wait

Previous bottle may have been an outlier. This bottle is still firm. But no need to wait much longer IMHO
