Decanted about an hour before tasting. Wonderful, sweet floral nose with a hint of cinnamon . First taste is excellent. Subtle, cherry flavors but not jammy. Body is well balanced - not too heavy or oaky. No smoke. Smooth, easy finish. This is a very good wine and should be good several years from now.
Clear, deep ruby. Clean, youthful, medium(+)-intensity nose, with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, black currant, cinnamon, toast, and eucalyptus. Dry on the palate, medium+ body, medium+ tannin, high alcohol, medium acid, medium+ intensity, and a flavor profile to match the nose plus cassis, vanilla, cedar, chocolate, and coffee. Long finish. Very good, will improve, premium price.
