  • Fyllig, mogen smak. Mogna äpplen, svamp, brioche, honung. Lite syra.
Fantastisk champagne, aldrig tidigare smakat så mogen champagne.

  • I love this champagne. It’s complex and a perfect example of this vintage. Restrained aromas of bread yeast, dried pineapple, dried apricots, candied ginger, brioche, and honey gives way to deep notes of lemon oil, poached pears, and sea shells on the palate. Marvelous energy and structure. Should be good for another 10 years at least. Tasted in both a Zalto champagne and a white wine stem, and I preferred the latter.

  • Quick Notes Series
Drank from a magnum. Although the lovely brioche and white flowers are certain present in this vintage Champagne which is fairly nice, but I find that there's this bitter ness in the aftertaste which made this wine a little unbalanced. This is my second magnum so I think it's fair to draw a conclusion to this wine now. One should drink up as I doubt there will be more improvements from here onwards.

  • 2nd tasting of this wine - better first time.

Quite golden color. Aromas of seashells, rye, butter, and some citrus. Lovely depth, although some oxidation are present. Maybe a hint of a downward development from here.

    Drink.

  • Golden colour. Citrus, seashells and some rye bread. Deep and complex. Retain acidity and creamy mousse. Fresh red-green apples and hints of oyster shells. Long finish. a bit more oxidised than last and I would hence recommend start drinking up now.

(RL Legras St. Vincent) COLOR-great medium golden; NOSE-a little nuttiness; some baked bread; a little apple as well; cereal-like; kind of creamy; just beautiful on the nose; PALATE-great mouthfeel; great vintage; a tequila component; great acidity; great baked apple; has a wonderful grip on the palate; the creaminess and elegance are just spectacular; this really brings the thunder; a ton of different flavors; a steeliness on the back-end; this has GORGEOUS apples; a great focus w/ the bread/danish action; it's just well made; it's crisp and clean; oyster shell; a marzipan candy on the back-end; this is SPECTACULAR; this has real guts; ST-92; GV-95/96
