  Lots of earthy forest floor and red fruits on the nose. These follow on to the medium bodied palate yielding a smooth, dark mélange of fruit and earth. The acidity is a touch more than needed for balance which leads me to suggest drinking sooner than later.

  Full-bodied right out of the bottle. Dark color, Bing cherry, licorice, and cola, offset earthy tannins. This wine shows no sign of thinning and will continue to age for several more years.

  The soft nose belies the mouthful of fruit and deep flavors with a lingering finish. Star berry, blueberry, and a hint of red licorice on the palette. This is drinking at its prime, no reason to wait but it still has a few years I suspect.
