Biggish, apricot, honey, lychee, verbena, white pepper, smoky, ever-so-slightly oxidative nose - quite complex and enjoyable. Luscious palate, smoky, creamy, and again so slightly oxidative. Surely an interesting glass; I drink wines like this so infrequently.

Such a refined elderly lady... Nothing oxidized, just mellow from superb integration and perfect maturity. Must have been a perfectly stored btl.
Colour: Golden Nose: Immediately, you realize that there is a most refined and graceful lady here. Mature and sophisticated with very fine details. Wine has small oak shining through and some happy aromas that resemble young Chard. Very, very, very beautiful. Palate: ethereal and seamless. Is reaching the end of the staircase. Mellow and integrated with all aspects. Acids M-. Awesome and then some. I'm unspeakably happy to have had the opportunity to enjoy this masterful achievement. Amazing! Wife: 89p. At ICHI-E (they don't allow BYOB, but made an exception for tonight, in that also the chef was interested in my theory that quite possibly low-acid wines may marry kaiseki-ryouri. It did, but compared to a saké of sound quality, this wine wasn't even in second place. Pity. But, we tried AND enjoyed!

All 3 remaining bottles were badly oxidized. Golden orange color. Undrinkable.
