Dry, med+ acidity, med alcohol, med+ body, med+ intensity, med finish. Palate/aromas of dried apricot, pineapple, peach, lemon, grapefruit, toast, butter, nutmeg and vanilla. On top right now. Extremely fair price. The style is completely different from Burgundy.

88 is near the top of "Very Good" in your rating scale. For $13.99, we were very pleased with this French Chard. Did not seem to be "unoaked", but it there was it was restrained and less than sweet pineapple and apple fruit taste predominated. 100% varietally correct. Don't know if this Chard is from Burgundy, but it seemed to us like a really nice entry level white burgundy. Perfect match for homemade chicken pot pie on a cold evening.

Aged on viogner yeast, and I can taste it. Not oaky or buttery. Nice chard.
