Another half bottle, with a healthy and fairly youthful colour.
Very enticing nose, with olive accented fruit and what seems like a hint of VA. Coffee, smoke and green pepper hide in the shadows.
The complexity of the nose comes through on the palate, with the green pepper aspect a llittle more prominent than it was on the nose. Acidity nicely refreshing without in any way sticking out. The coffee sits there quietly throughout, playing an interesting role as a discreet backdrop. Good complexity and length to the finish. With air the VA becomes more apparent, to the point I think of Musar. It definitely adds to the wine IMO and for my palate.
Enjoying this tonight.

From a half and a cellar cool on opening, but warmer by the time I scribbled this note.
Good deep colour and just a little age showing at the rim.
On the nose a some leafy greenness/tobacco with youthful fruit backing it up (the fruit more to the fore on swirling)
On the palate a nice balance between juicy/youthful fruit and the green pepper. It's balanced to my tastes, but others would object to the green pepper. Tannins are mostly resolved but still offer a little grip on the finish, which has decent length.
Overall classy and balanced.

A shade more depth of fragrance / complexity than previous bottles (and they've not been slouches). You could hold, but I'd say drink and enjoy.
