About the quality level of the '15 tasted a few times; a nose of toast and nougat with deep citrus and baked apple/pear. Honey, brown spices take form and add some elegance. Performs, almost better, at room temperture. A tad confectionary but should hold for a bit yet. Like the '15, I'm wanting a bit more precision and mineral. Tasty stuff.

Bill Elbring of North Berkeley Imports (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Pretty, with nicely spiced oak. It's a little simple on the nose, but it's also nice and elegant. Creamy and luscious palate, with some sweet fruit present: apple and slight bits of pineapple. Spicy acid starts coming in as its held in the mouth. More spicy acid comes in on the finish, which is rich and luscious as well. The body impression of this wine lingers a long time with acid continually kicking in. Lovely juice!

Ripe bruised golden apple nose
Tart golden (almost green) apple flavors
Easy to drink, and brightness keeps it fresh
