2017 White and 2014 Red Burgundy (The Morris, San Francisco): Yellow color. Some reduction dominates the aromas. Medium weight, some hardness from the sulfur but beautiful texture behind it. Succulent, tender fruit, firm acidity, and excellent length. Elegant Meursault with good tension and reserve. This should be at least excellent over time and perhaps better if it sheds its reductive tones.

Excellent. Light touch of coconut and pineapple and nuttiness. Bit of matchstick. Deft and light on its feet. Try one now and then save a few for years later. 92+ with time.

A lovely Charmes from Jobard. Very compelling wine from a producer I increasingly enjoy.
