  • Seemed a little tired at first but after about 30 minutes it opened up nicely.

  • Delicious wine. PnP and drank over a couple of hours. Very nice right from the start and got more mouth coating as it progressed. Sweet plum and cherry fruit followed by pronounced, medium tannins.

  • Darker purple. Fresh nose of crushed raspberry, rock, dark plum, fennel, and violets. Cool blue fruit on the palate with lots of dark plum and raspberry, still with a bit of primary bite. Nice acidity and firm, but slightly sweet tannin. Long finish of blueberry and black raspberry with loads of grip. This tasted young and will undoubtedly improve with more years in the cellar.

  • 60% Merlot, 21% Cab Franc, 12% Cab Sauv., 7% PV. Coravin'd for 2 hours. Medium dark tapering to a thin, clear rim. Reticent nose needed lots of coaxing to started to reveal high toned aromas of complex spice, black fruit skin and sandalwood. The palate impression is poised and polished with at soft but bright texture and flavors of black plum, currants, licorice and roasted savory spices. Firm yet perfectly balanced, there is still some ripe tannins and juicy acidity in the structure. Day 2: Decanted for about an hour and enjoyed over the next hour or so. This started to dry up a bit and harden up. Drink up if you own any while the fruit is still upfront.
