  • - Crimsom color with medium forming legs. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of mushroom with a light/medium body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Late to drink. No great depth of flavor, earthy.

  • Medium to light ruby with pink-blue hues. Nose combines fruit and tertiary aromas. Fruit is very fresh but in a marmelade style: strawberry, cranberry, raspberry and red cherry and pomegranate. On the other side there are aromas of leather, spice and hints of rubber. Medium bodied with tannins not yet completely resolved, and surprisingly long finish. Flavours are somewhat confected, like caramelised. In spite of this the wine is quite enjoyable! Great flavour intensity in any case and surprising freshness for its age. (Is it the the stelvin screw cap?) I agree with the friend who says it is reminiscent of a Beaujolais or a simple Pinot Noir.

  • Strawberry and cranberry flavors with very soft, velvety texture. As the other reviewer said, reminiscent of a Beaujolais or a simple Pinot Noir. Not yet over the hill. A good pairing with grilled salmon.

  • light, reminded me of a case of Gamay we bought from Jim Nichelini in 1982.
