Delicious raspberry and blackberry fruits. A sprig of mint and some milk chocolate development. Tannins have softened but bright acidity gives the wine focus and energy. Nice balance and very tasty at this juncture.

Yum yum yum. Shiraz seems dominant over the Cab with the mature fruit showing a tonne of soft sweetness, but there's Cab blackberry and graphite flavours mixing it up with Shiraz cherry and raspberry cordial.
Tannins velvety soft but fresh acid still present and colour looks great all the way to the rim, so this still has years to go if you're luxky enough to be sitting on some.

Rich and opulent, eucalyptus, blackcurrant, blueberries, some coffee as well, a lot going on. In the mouth full bodied and those juicy blueberries are really awesome, there is some freshness to meet all this, tannins melted and it is so ready to drink. Overall - big and bold, but there is grace as well. Paired with the Sunday roast and some vintage cheddar (a sweet note in the cheese made it excellent match).

Decanted for 1 hour, Great wine Cassis, red current, cedar, choc-vanilla, tobacco box, palate med weight with liquorice, cloves and hint of crushed ant. After 3 hours, the wine did fruit flattened, palate bigger. At the end of primary drinking window. But I could see an upside on trying again in 3+ years
