ABV: 13.5%. 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot, 3% Colorino, & 2% Malvasia Nera. Gorgeous nose of dark cherries and plums mixed with leather and roasted Mediterranean herbs. Plenty of fruit on the mid-palate, lifted by the well-integrated acidity. There's also a hint of umami, followed by a pleasant, lengthy finish. This wine is still very young and has a lot of potential. I'd keep it in the cellar until the 20-year mark.

PnP. Aged quite different compared to the bottle we had last year, appears much younger, red fruited (prune and sour cherry) and still quite primary, medium+ acidity, full bodied, resolved tannins with a sweet touch, long finish. Still very good but unfortunately my last bottle, drink within the next 3 to 4 years.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like coffee, medium toast and oak. It tastes like medium toast and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
