ABV: 13.5%. Grenache & Syrah. Generous nose of herbes de Provence and fresh cracked pepper with some red fruits hiding beneath. After several hours, the herbs and spice notes becomes a bit more harmonized with the fruit tones, but the wine still hasn't fully opened yet. Plenty of lush red fruits on the palate (think raspberries, cranberries, and red plums) with bright acidity to keep these fruit profiles lively. There's potential in this wine, but it probably won't show well until the 15-year mark (2025). However, I think the acidity will keep it fully intact until at least 2030.
2/13/2022 - Raised the score by three points (from 91 to 94). On day two, this wine exploded on the palate with ripe, juicy raspberry fruit that reminded me of Chambord. Simply put, it was a party in my mouth! Didn't expect this wine to change so drastically within 24 hours, but I'm glad I tasted it again. Note: Paired perfectly with pulled-pork, and the fruitiness of the wine (on day two) didn't succumb to the sweetness of the BBQ sauce.

A fairly round, plush texture to this wine, with plums, cherries and garrigue. A nice vin de table wine that should be drank fairly soon (B).

Still a decent wine...nothing spectacular, but a good drinking wine.
