  shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. we received this bottle as a gift. a credible entry level wine from the well known house of ruffino. this wine is made in a light style that requires pairing with beef or cheese that is not too sharp or spicy. a nice basic expression of sangiovese from chianti. an easy drinking wine that is best enjoyed on a festive occasion. a shout out to the kind family that gifted this to us.

  Rather nice, state-of-the-art Chianti Superiore. Medium color; pleasantly fragrant, herbed nose; medium sangiovese flavors and taste without too much acidity. Made for current consumption. Great pizza wine.
