Terrific QPR. Sneaky depth for the designation too. This is what I enjoy about Perrot Minot. Expressive, transparent, balanced. Generous but not showy or flabby.

Wow! Love it. For me this has everything a great PN from Burgundy needs. Strawberry, raspberry, roses... A hint of cherry but nothing overpowering just balanced.

Pop and pour. This starts off with a nose of black cherry licorice, sage and spice where the longer it sat, the sappier the fruit became which leads way to a medium bodied, silky smooth palate that is quite ripe with a pleasant, lingering aftertaste.

Bottle Share Lunch (Alimentari Cucina e Bar): Medium ruby core fading to garnet rim. Red cherry, red currant, earth, and hints of spice evident on the nose. Medium bodied with generous red fruit on the palate framed by fresh acidity and a bit of tannic grip. The lieu-dit “La Rue de Vergy” borders Grand Cru vineyard Clos de Tart. 13% ABV.

The cherry aromas and flavors are very nice. This medium/full-bodied wine is still nicely fruity, but the fruitiness has started to fade. I would say that the wine is in its peak now. I am not sure, if more aging is going to bring any such new tertiary aromas that are worth the additional waiting and the lost fruitiness.
