This wine is holding u well. It is still bright and fresh and Based on how long a glass accidentally left in the bottle by accident held up. it is rather long lived. At least another 4 years.

With receiving pear type aroma and straw pale yellow color reveals good acidity of pomelo along with pear and melon. Refresh! I think it's in a good drinking spot now

Basic Chard. It is good fruit with a touch of tang. the color is a very lite straw' which belies the weight of the fruit in the mouth. ?Finish is fruit with a little oak(?) and a good amount of acid. After several bottles I can say it's performance significantly falls below the sales pitch of the dealer that sold the wine

Well so much for trusting Wine Libraries sales pitch; I should have expected it was over-hyped by the price, but I was hoping. This is a standard, run-of-the-mill quality Chard. No particular notable quality nor special taste features. Go down to your local wine store and buy a random Chardonnay for $8-25 and you will likely get this kind of a Chard. Balance is ok and acidity is a touch high, finish is medium and body is medium-.

I would have guessed this was a blend including a large chunk of Sauvignon Blanc but their website says it is 100% chard. There is a strong taste of grapefruit in the mid section that just overwhelms what might be a very good chardonnay. If you like Sauvignon Blanc you might really like this one.
