Give this a little time to open up. This is a piquant chardonnay with lovely aromas and flavors of beeswax, lemon pith, green apples, orange blossom, and vanilla. The palate is more intense than the nose; very bright and tart but not without weight and there is a lovely salinity on the finish.

Concentrated golden color. I was expecting a bright, acidic, and mineral driven chardonnay, but there is an oxidative note that mutes the other would be flavors... think dry sherry. Certainly acid driven, but not bright, more amorphous than linear...there is a very tiny bit of nice wood on the finish. I would agree with other taster's notes of grapefuit, or maybe even say lemon instead. I think it's an interesting wine, but not one I wish to revisit too soon.

Fresh and clean with lots of bracing acidity. Predominant tones of grapefruit rind and grassy herbs. You won't find any buttery lemon oil richness or oak here. This one is definitely for the acid and chalk enthusiasts. If this is your style, it's pretty good value at $17 for an Oregon Chardonnay.

Honey comb, ripe pear, yeast. Maybe slightly oxidized? Light with a fresh acidity. Green apple, lemon merengue, sourdough. It finishes crisp with some funkiness to it.

Brassy gold. Strong whiff of oxidation - sherry. Somewhat tart, lemons and yellow grapefruit. pleasant mid palate, medium long finish.
