This had a cork that was well intact drive out and it makes me wonder if that explains the condition of the wine or if it's just the age of the wine. It definitely had some smell and some Taste of oxidation yet there was also some fruit and minerality on the pallet. I will definitely need to retry this soon. If this is typical it is definitely time to drink up ASAP

Wow! When I first pulled the cork I got a whiff of oxidation and thought it was bad. But it was fantastic once I poured it into the glass and let it breathe for a minute. Beautiful concentrated bouquet of flavors of smoke, minerals, pear, apple, well integrated oak, minerals (lots of minerality). Medium bodied with full mouthfeel. Very complex. Youthful fruit but with beautiful secondary flavors to it. Delicious now. May last longer, but I cannot imagine it getting any better. Very burgundian in style. Delicious

Very oxidized. Not sure if typical. Need to retaste soon. Despite oxidation it was good. The oxidation added nutty toasty flavors. Not sour. Not apple juice. Tasty. If next bottle oxidized need to drink up. Tasted the 2010 the next day which was delicious and youthful

Light green/straw in color. Opening with a floral nose that gets more interesting the longer the wine is open. Peach, salty nutmeg, citrus and honey. A muted, round and soft "easy drinking" background (low acidity, gentle oak) reminding me of the 1997 white Burgundies just after they were released. A long finish with a slight hint of vanilla. Elegant and enjoyable, too little information to judge this wine's aging potential.
