Chose this from 1/2 bottle Le Champignon Sauvage's list as I needed a white to pair with a few dishes from their tasting menu.
Medium to intense yellow gold. Medium intensity nose with honeysuckle and dried apricots the main flavour profiles. The wine is on the sweeter end of the 'dry' spectrum with the floral and dried summer fruit notes making it appear sweeter. Rich, could do with a bit more acidity. Generally worked well with all the dishes on the menu compared to the red counterpart.

Nice nose of rich apricot and butterscotch. On the palate it's heavy and rich. Perhaps a bit too much sweetness, as the overall impression of the wine is heavy. A bit less sugar and perhaps we would have noticed the acidity. However, it paired nicely with stir-fried bok choy in a plum sauce.

Light golden colour; sweet tones, petrol, but otherwise quite closed; semi-sweet attack, round, buttery, pear, a bit acidity but not much, good body; a bit flat, not bad, but not blockbuster either

golden colour. nose of honey, flowers, rose petals. very smooth in the mouth, spicy pear, feels a bit sweet but it is probably just the alcohol (14%). well balanced. nice wine but with a big presence - went well with leek quiche.

Honeysuckle and pears. A rich but flabby wine, found it one dimensional and lacking freshness.
