Brilliant translucent ruby. Nose of red berry, faint iodine, high pitched violets, stony earth. Layers of crunchy red raspberry, tart but ripe black cherry, iron granules, and fine soil on the surprisingly satiny palate. Fresh acidity and firm young tannin. Longer finish of echoing red cherry fruit amidst iron and earth. Delicious and full of character.

Subdued nose. Slight spice and red fruit
In a great place. Nice spice, red fruit is prominent, earthy with a bit of smoke. Try next bottle in a couple of years

The wine is semi-translucent and has a spicy nose. Actually, the nose reminds me of Black Forest cake with its macerated black cherries.
On the palate, this lovely light cherry fruit on the palate, with some Asian spices, plus nice minerality and acidity.

This wine is in a very good place right now with nice cherry fruit, some spice, minerality and a medium finish.
