So I bought a cellar; 11/12/2022-12/31/2030: Drank over two nights. Had a weekend long kid soccer tournament, and wanted a nice glass. This delivered. Bottle looked in great shape. Pulled the cork with ah so, and maybe half an inch soaked. Tartartic crystals on the bottom. First pour - deep dark in the glass, with very little on the nose. First taste had decent fruit, and spices. As it opened, there was some cranberry, red currant, and baking spices. When in the glass for several hours, there is more prune, but without too much air, this is drinking nicely. Corked with a vacuum seal, and on night two, this is in a great spot. Cherry and cranberry on the palate, with more of a cooked fruit nose. Good tertiary aromas. It hit the spot.

Held flavor well. I drank it against a variety of cheese, both young and old, and it was very nice. Then against a ham and bean soup, it really complimented the earthiness of hte dish. I agree that the wine is likely near or just past it's peak.
