Purchased from the cellar door as a museum release.
Golden straw in colour. A honeyed citrus nose, with some complex notes of banana, even green tea. The palate is buttery, with citrus and melon. Age has rounded and softened things, but it's still balanced with a tiny acid backbone. Divine.

This wine is directly at opening everything one seeks in a good Burgundy white; elegance, refinement and power in one glass. It is the perfect house chardonnay. I have never come across someone who didn't like it. Try it and find out! One last point: do not try to save some for the next day: all the magic and refinement will be gone. Then again, it's a problem that will rarely happen!

A mature Chardonnay, a light straw color. The nose is melon, sweet citrus orange. The taste is sweet fruit and mineral water up front into a clean acidic nutty finsih. Quite good, it was a 93 for me and I’ll enjoy the other bottles in the cellar

Scents of honeydew melons. Honeydew (and perhaps peach) on the palate with slight lemony acidity on the finish.
