12.1% abv. Light straw, very aromatic. Strong, intense flavors of lemon zest and saline minerals. Great depth and length, extremely energetic. Outstanding Chardonnay at an early plateau stage, lot of very pleasurable years remaining.

PnP. Really tight cork. Light greenish gold; nose is predominantly citrus driven with some herbal hints. On the palate this is better than most Rhys Chards I've tasted as it has more roundness and depth of fruit to balance the usual acidity. More Cote de Beaune than Chablis. Very nice now and I'm sure will age well for 3-5 years.

Goshdarnit should maybe be aging this a little longer, but here we are. Cut and lightly sugared citrus, green apple, unripe pear, lemon blossom, schoolroom chalk and blackboard, and a cool coastal breeze up the mountain. Oh this is a good one. Great salinity that makes for a long and interesting finish. Like this one a lot.

From 500 ML bottle. Lovely Santa Cruz Mt. Chard. Old world styled, with bright acidity, nice texture and a lovely citrus and floral nose. Palate has notes of lemon, white peach and a nice mineral backbone. That is coupled with a richness and depth of flavor. Balanced and complex. 94-95?
