Garnet color with slight bricking. Lovely perfumed nose of violets, mild licorice, and strawberries. Medium body with mid-level tannins and acidity. Flavors of blackberry, dark cherry, dried strawberry, licorice, nutmeg, and tobacco. Great balance of fruit and structure; New World wine making with restraint. This is just entering its drinking window as the secondary flavors begin to emerge. Has another 10 years ahead of it. Decant for sediment. Excellent.

Phenomenal wine. Had with leg of lamb and it went well.
Bright black fruit aroma of boysenberry, Blueberry with a touch of baking spice.
Flavor is refined yes juicy of Blueberry, later a touch of chocolate.
Would seek this again.
