Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined and refrigerated), note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, medium garnet - showing some browning on the rim. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity, developed aromas of dried cherry, cranberry, pine needles, Asian spice, and forest floor. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium- tannin, medium+ intensity, flavors of dried cherry, cranberry, and spice with medium+ finish.
Overall a very good Sonoma Pinot drinking well at 11 years of age, perhaps just past peak. Drink now or over the next couple years.

Last bottle. Drinking quite well now. As before, aromas and flavors of red cherry, baking spice and dried flowers. Integrated structural elements. I'd drink these over the next year or two before the delicious fruit fades.

Ed Kurtzman Dinner (Luciana's, Dana Point, CA): Dark raspberry nose. Ripe strawberry and raspberry flavors. Nicely balance fruit and acid. Fine tannins. A touch of candied cherry. I like this wine a lot and there is an amazing consistency between the 2010, 2011, and 2012 vintages.

Ed Kurtzman Comes To Dinner (2015) (Luciana's In Dana Point (South OC)): We tasted the 10-12 wines in the same flight, so we could get some contrast. Of the three, I put the 10 in third place. It does have red apple skin, dark raspberry, zingy acidity and light root beer. The reason I put the wine in third place is that it has a candied quality in the finish. The 12 was better and the 11, that wine is a gem, FWIW.
