Cork in great shape. Lively mousse and perlage that lasted for many minutes. Clear straw in the glass. Biscuit, yeast and honeycomb on the nose. Fresh, crisp fruit on the palate (the meunier?), with a wide center of acidity that carried the finish for almost a minute. Really lovely champagne.

Intense and still a bit wound up. Gave this about 25 min to air out a bit. This is very fresh and has aged at a snail's pace, first i was getting hints of red fruit (strawberry) aromatics but with time it was more of ripe apples in a wooden crate descriptor. There is a lot of concentration on the front end which spills into the mid palate but the back end base note has not yet developed. I say not yet as i think this has the stuffing to round out nicely but it is going to take some time. Excellent acidity with good Umami notes on the long finish, mixed with mineral and citric flavors. There is absolutely no rush here although this is a fine drink right now as an aperitif with fatty fare if you really have to crack one. (had this with home made buckwheat blinis, creme fraiche and caviar and it did not suck) I will wait patiently and keep my fingers crossed.

Last bottle from 7 purchased. Lovely Champagne, from one of my favorite houses. I only had a glass of this at a get together with friends. See previous TNs.
