This is a very nice wine drunk at the right time. There is some of the deep sweet cherry/cough medicine fruit I associate with West Coast Pinot mixed with some more subtle earthy elements. Dr Pepper. The palate is more refined with good acidic balance. Actually works quite well with food. I enjoy this but don’t love it. (90)

not much on the nose. the palate has initial cherry, that quickly fades into some tannins, slight spice, walnut. a light touch on all of these- food friendly. I like this wine.

Complex nose of red and black fruits. California typical candied cherry and cranberries dominate, together with some meaty and floral aromas. Wonderfully balanced and a pleasant and silky mouthfeel, but with a distinct drying tannin grip at the end that I didn’t particularly enjoy.

PnP. Medium red. Red fruits especially boysenberrywith some spice on the nose. On the palate this is not heavy but dense with flavors of cherry and plum with little or no tannins left to resolve. Quite lovely and may further develop with some more air. Will keep but why wait?
