Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Entry level Evesham Wood helds its own against some tough competition tonight. Sweet spicy cherry fruit. Nice balance. Some nice mid palate spice. Nutmeg? Hard to pin down. It was very nice and unique. I don't think you can find a better entry level wine in Oregon. Picked these up for < $20 from the winery. I highly suggest a visit. Chris at the tasting room is a true professional and always a must stop for us when we are near Salem.

Tasted after 90 minutes of air. Bright red berry fruit. Very lively. Medium ruby color. Nice grip. Great balance. Raspberries? Some tea notes. Medium plus finish. This drinks way above its modest price tag. An excellent QPR. This still has plenty of life left.

Pop and pour. Tasted with fiid, and recorked and saved a half bottle. Dark ruby color. Nose offers some red cheery and spice notes. Good cherry and red berry flavors, with an fresh soil, forest floor side. Black cherry on the finish. Enjoyable. Better on day 1 than the following day.

Tasted after 2 hours of air. Tasted long side wines that cost 3x what this did. It held its own. Medium ruby color. Round cherry fruits. Medium plus acid provides balance to the fruit. Some sour notes on the finish. Very nice.

Cranberry, smooth, clean — clearly Willamette Valley Pinot. Lovely. Best to drink now.
