  Surprise à l'ouverture, une capsule ferme la bouteille! Le vin est impeccable, il a remarquablement vieilli, présentant un nez typique de chenin évolué, sur la cire, le coing, les épices (peut-être pas hyper complexe ni élégant mais savoureux) . Dense, concentré, modérément puissant, peut-être avec 2/3 g de résiduels, il tapisse la bouche avec force (et une inertie interessante en finale) et laisse une empreinte minérale salivante, c'est un joli vin de gastronomie apte a affronter des plats exotiques ou des viandes blanches...

  At last, a Baumard which is not premoxed. This was like meeting an old friend after several years, reminding oneself just why one liked them in the first place. Honey and faint hints of white peach, before a second wave of straw and quince, then a long, ethereal finish. Wonderful, the best tasted since the 96.
