Blackberry, black cherry, leather, hints of mushroom; firm and with some grip, yet also with a certain elegance, along with good persistence, and somewhat gentle but still slightly tannic finish

Terrific wine and what an older Bordeaux is all about. Perfectly integrated tannins with lovely right bank fruit. Delicious after an hour plus decant.
