Still pretty tight and grippy. Nice right looking scarlet colour reflected in clean redder fruit profile with a bit of a classic gevrey meaty/gamey profile too. Shut down pretty tight on the mid palate though.

Some power on this wine! Amazing aromatics - dark cherry fruit, lots of earthiness, mint/eucalyptus, notes of leather and deliciously chewy tannins. Fabulous balance and can handle more years. Great now but can handle several more years.

(Potel Nicolas Gevrey-Chambertin) Some lovely dark red fruits on the nose. The palate is wide and interesting and packed with very fine tannin. This is quite long and a very good villages Gevrey

Excellent Gevrey. Du corps de la complexité mais tout en velour.

Another disappointing wine off the sale rack. A lot of sediment, and after that it was a hot disjointed mess. Bummer.

Much tighter and darker fruited than the 06 bachelet VV it was paired with. Some black fruits and leather backed up by plenty of grippy tannins.
