No formal notes. Drinking well and come show a lot of the vintage character (has more freshness and acid than many 09 whites). Two bottles consumed. Very good.

Blind Tasting '04-'10 Dampt Chablis (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Classic Chablis nose, lemon and white flowers. Palate's a bit boring, lean with a biting acid impression, lemon and a touch of heat. Surprised this was the '09 when it was unveiled. (my 6th, group's 3rd)

I purchased this at the Hostellerie des Clos in Chablis while having dinner there, we took the bottle with us and drank it as an aperitif at Harry's the following week. Clean and crisp with nice flavors of peaches, raisins and almonds, nicely balanced with a long finish.

this was the ripest Dampt wine I've ever had. Still very good though.
Delicious with beet salad and Hamachi tartare at the Cork and Fin.
