Greenish yellow, crystal clear. Lovely guava, pear, green apple and diesel with zippy acidity and a lush mouthfeel. A very nice finish completes a very fresh wine with no signs of aging to this point; an incredible Kabinett. Drank April 2010 but only just now adding my notes.

Light to medium yellow. Light, off dry, Granny Smith apple jelly and herb, average acidity, light slate, slight bitterness on the finish. This is in excellent shape, but it lacks a little zip.

At Ivan's place over prawn pasta. This has come quite a ways since I last tried it some 4 years back shortly after release. The nose had taken on a nice expressiveness, with sweet white fruit laced with mineral and daisy flowers. The palate has integrated quite a bit more as well, with ripe 2009 notes of white peach and apples laced with bright, juicy lime and lemon acidity and a nice stream of Scharzhofberger mineral leading into a finely detailed finish. While I felt the ripe fruit and stirring acidity stood out at awkward angles at times with the last bottle, the wine has now integrated quite nicely to show a harmonious balance and focus. A very drinkable, friendly Kabinett that is showing pretty well now. It will probably get better in a couple of years too.

Still light yellow. Delicious off dry yellow apple and slate with moderate acidity. Little secondary development at this point.

Good nose full of minerality, peach and apple. Good tart and acidity on the palate with a solid, medium finish.
