Screwcap, 13.5% alc. No formal notes. On a bit of a Bindi Quartz jaunt recently.
In a good drinking place now. Piercing acidity like a good Champagne but balanced by fresh citrus fruit and integrated oak. Bottle disappeared quickly. A cooler vintage expression than the more exuberant 2008 consumed recently. Drink now to 6 years.

Nice wine, good minerality and while flowers, proped up by a spine of acidity. A bit too buttery for my taste. Quite tasty, but lacking the wow factor.

(Bindi Chardonnay Quartz, Macedon Ranges, Victoria) On first taste, it’s hard to believe this sleek and mineral-driven Chardonnay comes from Australia. It combines the intensity of fruit found in a grand cru Chablis with the almost aggressive minerality of Sigalas’s Assyrtiko from Santorini. Winemaker Michael Dhillon is quick to agree with this assessment, noting that “some of the soils on our estate are up to 480 million years old.” Enough said. Hot Picks

Once again, didn't really wow me. A bit young, a bit light, the fruit was tasty, but not that impressive of a wine overall given the cost.
