  • Nothing wrong with it, but not exciting. General yellow fruits (mainly pineapple), a hint of petrol with air, a bit soft, a bit sweet.

  • Cork comes out clean and maybe a bit too easy? Wine pours a deep orange-gold. The nose shows kumquats, late summer peach, oranges, smoke, honey and honeysuckle, and a bit of that Zelting spice-spiciness-chili seeds but this time the seeds are more of a residual and not with heat. The palate enters soft and sweet and creamy. Ripe orange, honey, peach, spices and a bit spicy. The acidity seemed a little lacking when first poured but seems to be balancing better with air. Getting more juicy and exciting. Very well balanced with a great compete mouthfeel good depth, very lively and crisp. The finish starts tart and crisp and really drives through and unfolds with spices and citrus and orchard fruits and minerals. Nose - 5-5.5/6, Palate - 5-5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je be Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 17-18/20.

  • A delicious bottle of Riesling from a vintage that just always seems to deliver. Golden color. The wine seems to be an adolescent on the verge of growing up. Really enjoy the nose - baked apples and lime zest to keep things fresh. Rich palate that has a lovely initial wave of extract. Lacks only a little depth to make it great. That said, I like it. Not overly sweet. (92)

  • Delicious, rich, still pretty primary with just a whiff of petrol. Honey, lime zest, fresh ginger, crisp apples. Despite the heft and sweetness here, the main impression is intense and lemony. Long sweet finish, lingers and coats the senses. Lacks some nuance and complexity, but so tasty. 92-93 pts.

  • Light gold in color. Classic aromas of crushed orchard fruits, green citrus, hint of floral perfume and spice. Palate shows ripe poached orchard pit fruits in citrus, vanilla pastry cream, spice, good balance of sweetness and acidity and a long mineral and off dry finish.
