This is virtually unchanged from my tasting note of May 2013. Is is still very primary, with maybe just a little more black fruit and a little less floral. If anything, the flavor intensity and length is even greater. I am not sure that I could pick it out as a Cabernet Franc in a blind tasting, but it sure is good if you are in the mood for something big and New World. It probably has another 5 - 10 years left to go, although very pleasant now, especially with a decant.

Tasty and forward with red and black fruit. Smoothed out but still youthful. Pretty absurd alcohol level - which to its credit it wears well - that could catch someone off guard.

Vintage Select Industry Tasting - Firehouse in the Heights: Classis CF nose of bright cherry, leather, and tobacco along with some black cherry to let you know it is definitely Cali. On the palate, rich with lots of cherry and herb flavors along with hints of leather. Long finish with nice balance. A little heavy on the alcohol but everything else is spot on.

Only requires a brief decant. Rich and delicious and should be enjoyed without the corruption of food.

Nice on the nose. Soft on the palate. I thought it was classic California cab franc. Took about an hour before it started to really open.
