  Screw cap. Pop & Pour. Nose is red fruits, strawberries. Initial attack is a wave of intense candied strawberries followed by black pepper into the lingering finish. With a half hour of air in the glass, this takes on a more mellow profile, blackberries and crushed cherries mellowed by mild vanilla, leather, creosote, white pepper on the finish, clipped by chalky tannins. Medium finish. Very enjoyable wine. Drank with vegetable lasagna and garlic bread.
