  Very nice older Zinfandel. This surprised me since most of my 20 year old Zins have been just interesting to drink but not much fun... Still dark ruby in the glass with some haze. Nicely complex nose of sweet red cherry, mint and bubblegum. I the mouth still very well put together with grippy tannins, good acidity and a long finish. Not at all declining in the slightly spritzy way most Zinfandels tend to do. Nice job for the Sierra Foothills!
