Blackcurrant and leather. Twigs, leaves and earthiness underneath. Hint of mint. Palate is rounded with leather at the back and into the finish, and sour cherries and raspberries up front.

Have had 3 bottles from a case of 6. 2 have been corked, one smelt bad and one was just totally flat. One bottle, however, was delicious. Not a good ratio so far.

This wine was absolutely delightful, in fact I think I drank most of the bottle....a most unusual occurrance. But it was just so damn good. With sirloins from Bristol Farms and baked potatoes, at home on RLQ Drive

Rich blackberry with typical Northern Rhone smoked bacon. The lushness in the mouth was very satifying. The oak was integreated. Paired nicely with short ribs. Wish I had more.

Ripe blackberry fruit gives way to notes of leather and smoked meat. Luscious mouthfeel with a nice gamey finish. This was my 3rd an dfinal bottle. Excellent wine.
