I liked this more on a previous try- the oak seemed less integrated with a bit more bottle age. Good acids, full bodied, but despite the acids some buttery notes, and an overlay of vanillla B-

Obviously tired compared to previous tastings, but still absolutely enjoyable. Dark gold. Sweet nose of hazelnut paste, ripe mellon and tropical fruits. Medium-bodied with obvious evolution, ripe to overripe fruit but acidity keeps it alive. Very long aftertaste. Drink up.

. I’ve liked the Petite Arvine and some reds from Les Cretes, but this was a bit of a stylistic shock ( ok, I guess the Bois should have been a clue). Big with a definite hit of vanillin oak, not what I was expecting from les Cretes. But I got over my erroneous expectations, I began to like the wine more. Under the oak is some vibrant acid, good texture, and floral and mineral notes. In a way this is a bit Puligny like. Will put away remaining bottle for a while to see how oak integrates. B+

Lemon-gold colour followed by an evolved nose offering exotic fruit(pineapple & papaya), honey & quince along some oxidated notes. Excellent integration of oak suggesting possible barrel fermentation. Middleweight on palate but with depth showing vibrant fruit. Well balanced with lively acidity that leads to a fairly long finish. A wine at its peak. Dont see reason to keep it further. Very enjoyable elegant style Chardonnay.

Quite deep golden coloured with a green hue. Expressive nose with ripe tropical fruit like mango and pineapple, also quince and mineral tones. Oak is evident but well integrated lending some sweet spice and buttery aromas to the wine. Palate is medium to full with fantastic vibrant acidity which balances sweetness of fruit. Texture is round and creamy. Flavorful with persistent finish. Really great wine!
